Family Camp

This weekend we went to rhona and si s kirk family camp! it was brilliant. it was at this christian centre place in the teapot valley, near nelson. just a few large buildins with a dining room etc. an we all stayed in little cabin dorm rooms. it was such a lot of fun. the agenda was to just have fun together.we had one sunday mornin meetin an the rest o the time we just played. they had loads of really good facilitys. a games hall with trampolines, basketball etc. a swimmin pool with a big log across it which we ended up tryin to run across while other people threw basketballs to knock you off. an assualt course with a barrel turned buckin bronco on ropes. a huge flyin fox. a water slide that was really fast(me an si had a slight collision on it, i departed before he d got off an then smashed him off.....) tennis courts an a football pitch, an a giant wooden maze(which we went in in the dark with all the kids!) we had a great time, ther was nothin organised, except meal times, so if you wanted to sit in an do jigsaws an watch dvds you could do that too! it was a really effective camp i think. really helped to connect with people an get to know them better. i think one of the strongest aspects of they re church is probably the family feel of it. its real good.
got a day off today, which is great cause ive only got a week left of pickin an then ill have to find somethin else so im plannin on doin that today. gonna go to the work place this afternoon an see if i can get pickin kiwis or somethin. just need a few more weeks work to get enough money for the rest of my trip (i hope) get to hang out with ella rose this afternoon too cause rhona s workin. so we ll have some fun. i love hangin with her, she s such a peerie cutie! i think its the bits o the trip ill really remember when she s older, peerie afternoons oot, just me an her chillin!
its rainin today which kinda sucks but at least am no in the orchard! no so fun when its rainin! over an out.
