Wanaka, Haast, fox glacier.

Headed up to wanaka after the last blog, made abbie drive most of the way! shes gettin better! beautiful drive! was real cold up there too, we had some water in a bottle in amongst some clothes near the bed one night, in the morning it was completely frozen! luckily left the real cold behind now, its considerably warmer up here on the west coast! we stayed in wanaka for a night an wer gonna go skiin but decided it was too expensive! we went to puzzle world instead which was awesome! full of illusions an stuff! we headed on to haast on the west coast going through the mountains and some stunning scenery/waterfalls. we wer looking for somewhere to watch the world cup but it was a tiny town! we ended up persuading a pub to open at 6.15 am to watch the world cup final, luckily some other people turned up too! really stunning coast, but definatly noticed the increase in in sandflies! we still be really lucky with the weather too! we went for a day walk on the fox glacier the next day an that was incredible! we re gonna try an see some glow worms tonight for free! in hokitika! we re planning on being in motueka for sunday, probably for a full week. cant wait to get there an see r an s an ella rose again, but am still having a great time! writing this super fast cause im paying for internet again!:( more soon! pics too hopefully!
