Not blogged for ages! done so much! travelled down from auckland back to wellington along the west coast. really beautiful, saw a kiwi! the bird! really funny creatures! but cool! did a lot of driving to get back down to wellington. went to an awesome car museum along the way, but mostly just drove! in wellington i stayed with the same lovely couple i stayed with before. they took me to their brothers 21 st, which was really good. and ended up going to another family gathering the next day. Really great hospitality! Went to a church of a friend i met when doing the mount doom walk. it was good. Met a scottish guy who said he used to be in the navy, an his old chaplain lived in shetland now he thought.....malcolm mcall!!!! janet got him saved! random as, very small world!
Got back on the ferry an headed for kaikoura before driving down to christchurch to pick up abbie! i met Ken frost(the pastor from rhona s church) when i arrived as he was in ChCH for a few days. He took me back to his mum an dads an i had dinner with them and stayed in their living room! loverly. Ken was excited to meet abs, so came to the airport in the morning to pick her up with me!
it s so good to see her, an have some company! we walked aroond christchurh for a bit an abbie managed tae stay up till 6 which was good. i think shes pretty recovered noo. yesterday we met up with lynne stevens whose movin to wellington. it was great to see her too, an we all had a fun day getting food, ad essentials before heading off today. we went to see toy story 3 as well which was brilliant. Going to try an get up to lake tekapo just now, an then mount cook!
