APPLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

apples apples apples! literally just as i shut down the computer after me last blog, one of the orchards id phoned near here called an gave me a job! which i was extremely thankful for. i d heard if you got a contract picking you get paid by how much you pick and that the money was quite good. however as it turns out, picking apples is insanly hard work! not that i thought it wouldnt be but what you seem to get for all the hard work doesnt seem to be very much! today i picked three bins of apples at 400kg each bin. i get paid 30 dollars per bin unless their a bit bruised, then they take money off because you ve obviously been dropping them in your bag an not being very gentle. so really, for a really hard day working as fast an hard as i can go i got about 45 quid! so if i get up to speed to doing 4 bins a day (in the intense heat might i add) ill get about 60 pound a day, which is sort of normal for a not too difficult job! very wierd, it seems unless your a very gifted picker, you have to work really really hard for a normal amount! on the plus side i get to work outside, which i really like, i get to eat all the apples i want, and ive got a job! its all good life expierience i suppose! thank the lord for apples! am no half tired though, jimmney cricket..........
