Yesterday efter kirk we all went tae harwoods hole! which is essentially a big whole in a hill, kinda on top..... you have to drive away up takaka hill an than on a dirt track fir ages apparently they shot some scenes for lord o the rings there! you walk through this awesome forest for half an hour an come oot at this massive hole! it must be aboot 100ft wide and apparently goes doon aboot 200metres! you can abseil doon and go through the cave systems under the mountain an oot the ither side but it takes 9hrs, and you have to be experienced! it was cool to see, id seen on tv guys going into these sort of random huge cave holes in sooth america, its kinda lik that, really cool.awesome rock formations too, whar the waters carved it oot an stuff, theres no water noo though it apparently decided on a different route after it had dug da big hol! really hard tae tak a picture o it, i tried but it wis immense and da pictirs didna do it justice! just lik da whole o NZ!
